My Mothers parents (Father 2nd from left, Mother, 2nd right) were both born in the 1800.  Father 1893, Mother 1899).  It was more Mams Fathers side that made me start on the ancestry stuff.

And this is them when they were courting (because in the 50's they courted and didn't date)

They've organised a party.  So we're doing that next weekend.  Then they're going to Australia for 4 weeks the weekend after.

Dad used to be a police officer, and we have arranged (unknown to them) for a 70's style police car to come and arrest them to take them to their party.

But Mr Cinds and I are paying for them to have a romantic night at Lumley Castle when they get back from Australia.
