I like shoulder of lamb ....and it used to be a cheap cut

 Not any more though

I've downloaded the accompanying book to my Kindle but I've decided I prefer a real book when it's a cookbook - so might have to get the proper book version too.

I leafed through it at the weekend, but haven't bought it yet.

Do shop around - a lot of places are doing it cheap.

I'd have to leave the lemon out

That's a shame, Baz. I know of chefs who consider lemons almost as essential cooking ingredient as salt.

Yes ...sadly I've developed bad IBS over the last year Eugene ....and lots of stuff ...including anything citric ...are now off the menu

Long, slow cooking.

Yes Funnily enough I'm seriously thinking of buying a slow cooker .....now I'm having to cook things from scratch !!

I had one and never used it - it might be up the loft or hubby might have chucked it out.

Yes: it's one of those things that seems to have gone out of fashion - a shame, as this lamb dish shows...

Don't think I can wait that long.

Pretty certain I've seen it under ÂĢ11 somewhere.

If I see it under ÂĢ11, I'll be sure to let you know (and pick one up for myself)
