I got in from work about 4:30am i was just settleing down with a cup of tea and a cig when i heard an almighty scream outside. I opened my curtains to see a young girl passed out right outside my flat. I went outside to see what was going on. By this time her friend was beside her and she was wake. Me and her friend helped her into my flat and sat her down with a glass of water so she could calm down. I could hear more shouting so i went outside where her boyfriend was. I told him his girlfriend was safe and i was looking after her. He wanted her to go with him to find some bloke who had attacked them both. I told him no! She had a nasty bump on her head and had been hit in the stomach with a baseball bat. She was in no state to run around town looking for this bloke. So off he went. When i got back into the flat the girl had passed out again. Her friend was trying to bring her round. I picked up my phone and rang 999. At this point she started fiting and had stopped breathing. I managed to pull her to the floor laying her flat on her back and lifted her chin up to open her airways. All the time telling her friend what to do and speaking to the operator on the phone. Her face was turning purple so i pinched her nose and breathed into her mouth for her twice. She started breathing again. Shortly after the ambulance arrived and they took over.

I waited outside the flat for about an hour to make sure she was ok. The ambulance men wanted her to go to hospital but she was sure she was ok. So about 5:30am her and her boyfriend gave me a huge hug and said they couldn't thank me enough.

I was just so proud at how calm and in control i was. I shocked myself. Im shaking now just typing about it Big Grin

I live right in town though Queenie. Im round the corner from all the pubs (and trouble) the villages outside are a different world completely. I grew up in one and the only crimes i can recall were when Jakes bike went missing but was later found in his mates garage after he forgot he left it there. And the pub being robbed which turned out to be an insurance job.
