To be honest Saint, I got fed up to the back teeth with all the negative comment and vitriol thrown at Candice for no reason other than she has a slight pout. It seems like a very small thing for everyone to get on her back about. Most of the comments were pure speculation and not based on fact at all. Now all we hear is that people will turn off their telly when she is on. She is not a mass murderer or scuppered other contestants. I'm quite pleased she won just to piss people off. Partly why I watched alone tonight as I knew it would be negative comment after comment. On this occasion Saint, I don't consider myself part of the family.
But we all have our own opinions, don't we?
You can have yours.......it just so happens that we don't agree with it, most of the time
Sprout posted:But we all have our own opinions, don't we?
Yes, but on this occasion it was just a baying lynch mob. Pretty sad IMO.

I see at as acidic humour, a dislike taken to comedic proportions - not nastily meant - it's just people's way of enjoying the silliness.
And defo not worth falling out with peeps

You might look harmless but deep down you can be a bit of a fireball. People think youâre sweet but tread carefully because they wouldnât want to get on your bad side. You also have a pretty enviable cackle.
I'm a terrifying CLOWN CAKE
Guaranteed to scare the fudge out of kids and adults alike, this clown cake represents your fun-loving nature. However, thatâs not to say you donât have a dark side. As funny as you might be, nobody would dare to mess with you.

The end of an era with two final episodes for Christmas.
First is on Christmas Day at 16.45 on BBC1
The tent has been decorated and the invitations have been sent out for two very special Christmas episodes of The Great British Bake Off. Eight bakers of Bake Off past return to the tent to compete once more.In this first episode there's another chance to see Mary-Anne from Series 2, Ali from Series 4, Cathryn from Series 3 and Norman from Series 5.
The bakers face three festive challenges, starting with the signature challenge. Paul and Mary want them to make some highly decorative Christmas bakes that require intricate icing.
For the technical challenge, Mary has a special present of mystery ingredients and a recipe which, if the bakers follow correctly, will produce a stunning bake, decorated with chocolate snowflakes.
And finally there is the showstopper, for which the bakers must produce a festive masterpiece with Christmas theme.
And the second is on Boxing Day at 19.00
A festive welcomeawaits four more returning bakers - Chetna from Series 5, Howard from Series 4, James M from Series 3 and Janet from Series 2.
The judges have set three festive challenges, starting with a savoury signature to get the Christmas party started. In the technical, Paul has a gifted them a bread challenge that's not for the faint-hearted. The final challenge, the showstopper, is huge, as the judges lay the festive gauntlet and ask the bakers to make a trio of Christmas favourites. But who will hold their nerve and produce the perfect desserts?
Thanks El Loro I might watch the Boxing Day one , but think the Xmas day one will be too early
Baz, I'll be recording today's. It's too early to want to watch it live. Although the two episodes have a similar format to the main ones I don't know if someone will be named as star baker at the end of each episode.
