Another FA cup no-show from Norwich.  Every season, the same thing. Didn't even bother to listen on the radio today as it was a foregone conclusion.  I wouldn't dream of going to Preston to watch City in the FA Cup. 

 

League One Preston away, might look like a 'giant killing' to the detached observer considering Norwich were in the prem last season.  However, to a Norwich fan with knowledge of their appalling Conference standard cup record the match had cup exit written all over it.  

 

The club aren't bothered about the cups, they shouldn't enter them.

 

I think most football fans, the ones who actually go, have had enough of the media obsession with "giant killing."

 

That idiot Lawrenson proved that he knows nothing about football clubs outside the top six by claiming the Preston result was the first 'shock' of the FA Cup.  Given Norwich's record in the competition, a 'shock' would have been a Norwich win.  Anyway rant over!

I would fancy a crack against the Blades! Lots of room for our increasingly large away contingent. Easy to get to. Decent ale. Away advantage and so forth. I can't think of a better trip out, bearing in mind the teams left.

Which are your favourite away venues?

The draw is on at 7:35! Having had a good look. Bolton, Blackburn, or Sheffield away would do. In the unlikely event of Doncaster beating Bristol, then that would be nice too!

Either way more expense! We're off to stay with friends in Oxford for a long weekend so we can go to Reading. Brentford at the end of the month and now an extra trip to Manchester. I hope it's on the Saturday afternoon.

At least get them back to your place for a nice payday and a home fixture.

Just bought my rail tickets for Manchester. I haven't been to the new ground but hope it's less violent than Maine Road.
