If that is 2-1 to Sunderland, then I would be quite happy with that result as long as Garage Joe get's his Mata goal

I'm quite confident about this one... i can already hear the roar from the Fulwell Rd (or wherever Sunderland's singing area is nowadays!) - home win; nailed on!

Does that mean GJ still gets a payout for the Mata goal?

The bet was based on Mata scoring - regardless of the result.

Ah good, glad he's got a result

I've never placed a bet so not familiar with all the lingo

It's a nice route into Europe. We were discussing this at work and for the bigger clubs who take it seriously they can pretty much say they have a decent shot at it.

For clubs like Wednesday, it brings in a welcome few ££££.

Hopefully a reminder to people who keep banging on about the Premiershit. There aren't many away days out.

Didn't enjoy last season in the Premiershit at all.  The Champs is proving to be more fun but I guess it's only while the parachute funds last.  Couldn't stand the negative football of last season under Hughton.

Despite a decent start, I'm trying not to get too optimistic and we are a little bit more tentative at home for some reason. But I should have more faith in Mr Gray as he will have done his homework and so far we have only conceded one goal in open play.

Forest have a couple of players that were at Hillsborough last season and they have both been hitting the back of the net (Fryatt & Antonio).

I would see a point against Forest as a big achievement, anything else against a side in form would make my evening Chinese and a few pints with a mate that bit more tasty.
