Apparently his old club had a 'sell on' clause when he left there so Arsenal won't see the full amount. I was reading this morning that want away Modric told Redknapp he wasn't 'in the right frame of mind' to play last night. Tough! He should be made to play or warm the bench for as long as Spurs want him to and if he refuses then a significant fine will ensure Spurs are not paying his wages and getting nothing in return!

I assume you mean the article on the ownership of Carlos Tevez GJ.

I had a read through it earlier on, who would've thought that Tevez would be 'owned' by Russians? Wonder if he even knows that he is pretty much a prisoner... great player but the people around him are right tw*ts.

Disgraceful that this sort of crap goes on, its well paid slavery... I can imagine years ago when he was young he made an agreement and now he's stuck with it. Even if he's actually employed by us now and we have control over selling him, it's clear someone has still got something on him, possibly even connected with his family and are pulling all the strings. Makes Kia sound more of an adviser.

The article seems to make more sense of what goes on with Tevez, its also written by David Conn... who is usually right when it comes down to this stuff.

Just seen the arguement between Piers Morgan & Michael Owen, players have been getting very gobby recently... probably because of Piers, got to be one of the biggest wind up merchants on twitter He's always baiting someone on there, players then get dragged into it and now Michael Owen has finally cracked.

"I'm looking forward to reading your tweets on Sunday when your boys visit Old Trafford."

On the GK (can't spell him name:glance: "What about the other things you said about him? Slaughter him for months and then start praising him. Two faced and clueless."

Β£55m for Fabregas and Nasri leads to....

"Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has had a bargain-basement bid for Gary Cahill laughed out of town by Bolton.

Wenger has tabled an offer of just Β£6million, plus extras, for the England international, which is roughly a THIRD of Bolton's valuation on their classy centre-half.

The offer is so low that the Lancashire side have dismissed it out of hand."
