Man U get another win when they aren't firing on all cylinders - it's the mark of a great team to be able to do that. Arsenal are the opposite at times - we play really well and end up losing.
Chelsea are looking ominously (sp) good at the moment. It'll be interesting to see how much they get affected with the African Cup of Nations absences later in the season.
See we've got Man City in the Carling Cup. I didn't mind who we got tbh but I would have liked a home draw. Still we'll see what happens
Loving the WBA goalssssssssssssssss.
Nothing much to cheer in our household.
Its been cancelled...
Ok... il be optimistic... we're half awake...
Shay Given has been immense, saved a penalty... he really does deserve a better club, the rest of the team have let him down.
James McFadden misses penalty for Birmingham...
We now gone into fourth and we have a game in hand.
Watched the Arsenal Ladies win easily today in a cup match. Going to watch the babies play Portsmouth tomorrow night too.
Disley, do you think that you could have held Chelsea if you hadn't had a man sent off? I have only seen the highlights but I thought Bolton were doing ok until then.
It is really infuriating when a decision like that changes a game. I think there has been some shocking refereeing this season already. Can't remember much about the Bolton sending off in amongst all the other red cards yesterday but it certainly gave Chelsea a break
Innocent penalty Drogba was through and the player got a tackle in so the ref gave it. Has he toned down going down though to focus on his game?, still he's a quality player. I bet Ronaldo is still doing it for Madrid and he did it for us so I can talk, still Chelsea are playing some good stuff, quality goals but next weeks match against us will hopefully be entertaining.
Good to see you back in here Spongey.
hi darlo xxx...you must be pleased how you're doing this year?read today ferdinand maybe out for 8 weeks...chance for evans to stake a claim..he's a good young player i think
as for ronaldo..he's out injured isn't he?..haven't seen anything of him playing since he moved,i know you watch alot of european football..how do you think he's doing?
Il still take shots at other teams though Its good fun watching the world run around screaming "city ruining football"
as for city...good team...i was particularly gutted you got bridgey..really rate him..he's quality...as for the money side..we had all that..and lets face it..no club is gonna turn down a billionaire owner are they?...that said you still have to buy the right players etc...there's a good vibe going on at city and i think you're in with a chance of a cup this year...i think the league is a season too soon this time...but a bit of strengthning here and there..and next year i reckon you'll be in with a shout
I've actually not watched that much of Ronaldo playing for Madrid, but from what i've read so far he is a hit and miss as Madrid are on a bit of a wobble but he'll soon be banging the goals in and at his best. He is injured at the moment with an ankle injury.
He did impress me, he's tiny lol and he reminded me of George from BB7.
Nani has the pace and skill but his final ball is so frustrating and he needs to work on his crossing of the ball. He loses the ball quite a lot and he can be so selfish when theres a clear oppurtunity to create a chance he goes for it himself, sometimes you need to be selfish if you feel theres a way you can score but he is very tiring to watch at times I think Fergie will sort him out.
Antonio Valencia is really impressing me though he has lots of pace, he can cross he tracks back tries to create chances he'll improve.
