Apparently Adebayor is to arrive at COMS this afternoon from the MCFC twitter page. It will be hillarious if everyone is heading to the ground and then find out nothing is happening

Well the Arsenal v Barnet match finished 2-2. Could have been better.
meaty, Arsenal blogs are reporting that Adebayor is up at yours having a medical.
Good riddance to him I say, hope you have better luck with his attitude

Arsenal could easily use the money from selling Adebayor to strengthen the squad more, so it's a win-win situation for Arsenal, plus for City because they will be getting a good player but they will sure have lots of unhappy strikers during the season .
Cristiano Ronaldo has just said his goodbyes to his Real Madrid team mates at their training base in Dublin and is now heading to Dublin airport to fly to Manchester to undergo a medical at the City of Manchester Stadium. He'll be presented to the media as a Manchester City player in a press conference on Monday.
, good one Crunchy. Man City are aiming for world domination ain't they.
Felipe Caicedo

PMSL
You forgot the obligatory kissing of the Real badge and the taking part in a press conference where he declares his intention to stay with Real as they are the only club for him
I won't forget what he did for us during the six years, although the hypocrisy from him was hilarious at times .
Wouldn't it be funny if Man Utd drew Real Madrid in the CL 2nd round or quarter finals and did what Liverpool did to them last season? That would be funny.

Fergie would be up for it alright.
he'd probably chuck in a free diatribe on the bombing of Guernica too before ceremonially peeing on a picture of Franco

Excellent
any chance of sending Gallas somewhere unpleasant for an exorbitant transfer fee?

FIFA 09 , even though he's not there yet on the verge I can transfer him. You can upload the squads so they are up to date with the transfer market.
Good riddance to him, he will probably be ok for City he is ok while his attitude is focused.quote:Originally posted by Veggieburger:

As long as we replace him with someone who can head the ball, stay onside and work as hard as the 16 year olds I will be happy.
Would be a result just losing his 110k per week salary.

Did you watch the match on the website? I was going to go but they wanted 23 quid just to stand on the Underhill terraces so I thought they could shove it.

Hello Capt . Veggie can you see Wenger doing anymore transfer activity?. You missed out on Melo now he's signed for Juventus.
Was it free on the website? ATV is a ripoff IMO.
No I didnt, the barnet game is always a joke.
Edit and was watching Le Tour de France

What do you think? . I read a couple of footie forums or whatever and some Gunners fans have mentioned about a new defensive midfielder as Flamini hasn't really been replaced.

My son has a subscription to ATV online which I do for him every year as a birthday pressie so I use his login
I agree about the online one being a rip off. We have to pay the same as subscribers outside the UK but they get to watch every match in full at least twice in the week following the game but you can only do that in the UK on the ATV television channel not on the website.
AW put out a really strong lineup in the first half but changed 10 of them at half time - only Vermaelen played the 90 minutes.
The good news was that Rosicky played a solid first half. He wasn't afraid of challenges but he seems to have lost his eye a bit, quite a few loose passes.
Barazite looked lively when he came on, he could make the step up this season
Hehe. Wenger usually tries one or two last day transfers.quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:quote:Originally posted by CaptVimes:quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:

I think we have enough midfielders personally. We might see one or two more youngsters given more of a go there.
I would like anouther central defender with some height and a replacement for Ade if he goes.
Edit I originally wanted another striker but doesnt look like we are getting that.
Make or break for Barazite this season I think yep. Did Vela play?quote:Originally posted by Veggieburger:quote:Originally posted by CaptVimes:

Vermaelen will probably get a fair bit of play so he gets used to our system I guess.
You definetly need to strengthen the defence , it's going to be even more tougher next season with Man City hanging around, also Everton and Villa who I think will be stronger and definetly not to be underestimated, even Spurs if Harry sorts them out lol.
Manchester City can announce that Emmanuel Adebayor has passed a medical and signed a five-year contract.

Could be a change in the order this year. City seem to be buying all the wrong players. I could be proven wrong but dont see them pushing into the top four with Hughes in charge.
Moyes is a great manager and could put a good team together this year.
I dont like O'Neil

Nope no Vela, Eboue wasn't in the squad but was there on the bench with the others lending support.
He started with Almunia Djourou, Gallas, Vermaelen, Silvestre; Wilshere, Randall, Frimpong, Rosicky; Arshavin, Watt.
Watt and Shava combined well for the first goal but defensive frailties again from set pieces cost us. Frimpong looked good, I was impressed with him last season.
All the pre season matches are free on the ATV online bit of the website.
Arsenal fans can celebrate now . Man City fans can also celebrate in getting another striker and looking forward to them getting fed up of the rotation next season .

No seriously, I like the bit at the end of Meaty's link about Adebayor.
Where they tell everyone that the club shop is open tomorrow
Well they have to recoup the 20 million they've just chucked away somehow PMSL
I rather have the choice of Bellamy, Tevez, Robinho, Cruz and Adebayor then Berbaflop, Rooney and Owen
Is he .
, Tevez and Robinho are the best players out of the City bunch. Each to their own I would rather have United players of course .
