Afternoon all wavey

There were heavy rumours at the end of last season about him moving on from United.
The gossip is all about his wife really hating it in Manchester and wanting him to transfer.
Obviously have no idea how true or otherwise it is

From some witt on the Ashes txt update website:

"A single mother I know went into a coma as she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. On waking from the coma she was worried as to the names her rather dense brother might have chosen on her behalf.
'What did you call the girl?' she asked. 'Denise', he replied. Heaving a huge sigh of relief that it was a 'normal' name, she asked what he had called the boy. 'De nephew', he replied."

it was funny the first time I read it... Blush

You think Newcastle will struggle?, I think they will hopefully come back up but you never know.

I truly do think if they don't get off to a decent start they will struggle, there is at least the top 7 or 8 teams in the CCC who contest every year along with the teams who are relegated.

Also the Championship can throw up some very funny results, bottom can beat top etc, I truly hope I am wrong, but TBH I can see them struggle.

Albion have the best chance of coming back up, the defence just needs sorting out Big Grin.

Championship is just as good as the PL but it's more competitive as theres always more twists and turns, results aren't as predictable either.

I'm being totally truthful here (and don't get me wrong I love us being in the PL) but I actually prefer the seasons we are in the Championship as the twists and turns are more interesting and you do get more footy in the Championship.

The upside of being in the PL is you get to see some of the best players in the world playing at your ground on a fortnightly basis, but it gets kinda depressing when you are on the losing side most of the time!!

Nod, he said he wanted to stay and she would just have to accept it as he's very happy at the club Big Grin.

Nod that is true in a way because there is a 50/50 chance of either winning or losing any match in the championship. In the PL you have to work more harder but even that sometimes doesn't get the results.

Not that I'm sorry they did.

Never mind Thumbs Up.

Rzb I heard Spurs have joined Everton in bidding for Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker from Sheffield United.

Spurs been linked with Arjen Robben but he has no interest whatsoever, nor does Mirko Vucinic of Roma.

PMSL The Sun in trouble....

Manchester City can confirm that the story in The Sun newspaper this morning claiming that our players visiting Abu Dhabi had been given expensive watches by Sheikh Mansour is a fabrication.
The club is pursuing the matter legally and will do so in the most robust fashion possible.

Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz, Stephen Ireland, and Carlos Tevez have not met with Sheikh Mansour and have spent their day fulfilling a host of engagements on behalf of new club sponsors Etihad.

The players have this afternoon been helping out at a children’s holiday activity centre where 150 local youngsters got to meet them.

Hi Veggie wavey lol leave him alone lol - United had been tracking the player, other clubs suddenly put bids in, so they had to accelerate the process..I'm sure all clubs change there plans to react to a situation Smiler

Are you expecting a cracking season from Arshavin Veggie? he looked great the minute you signed him..him and fabregas..quite a midfield.. Nod and I have him in my fantasy football team Ninja

Morning meaty and perones Hug

Leave him alone?? Not a chance. He should just do what AW does and refuse to comment not tell lies Razzer

I am feeling optimistic about this season but then we all know how that can fall apart.

Everton away on the opening day could be the sort of game that defines our season. They are challenging for a top four place and are the sort of team we have to beat well to improve from last season - tbh I would rather a lesser team for our first match.

Arshavin is awesome, when you see him live he is even better but he's so tiny. I hope we can get the balance right in the squad.
time will tell.

I also support Brentford and hope that they can consolidate in League 1 after the promotion last season. Andy Scott has done a really good job there.

Dunno really, tbh I don't think about age or looks when I am posting with someone.

So I'm not sure why exactly I thought you were older - or how old - but I just did Crazy

Maybe in your 30's or so

Not for another 6 years... thankfully. Wink
