Looks like im getting a new kitchen too!!!
The contractor was round today and finaly after 2 years they discovered the damp was being created by the water tank leaking in the flat above. So they are ripping out the whole left side of my flat. Only thing is though i may have to move out for a couple of weeks

Believe me i wouldn't have a problem with either my bathroom or kitchen had the landlord sorted the problems out when they should they would of been saving themselves a lot of money. I have to say if i had the choice of living in a damp, horrible, earth worm dominated bathroom for another 2 years to get a brand new bathroom at the end of it. Id sooner put up with a old scabby one just so long as the walls didn't move
