I know I shouldn't but, it made me laugh to see a thread reminding people to look for a survey over there ----------->  when the old style ones used to be in threads in the main topics section, so easier to spot.. just seems a tad crackers to change a format.. but am sure there were valid reasons, I just can't work out what they are. .

I never look at the right hand side to be honest but, just did now and saw a survey about should surveys be on the main topics section and the majority say yes.. 

Yep, I remember that survey.

However, there isn't anything that can be done at this point. It's a software change that can't be changed back, so we'll just have to get used to it!

Yeah I get that, it just seems mad that you have to create a thread to remind people there is a survey.. but as you say get used to it. . or remember to check the right hand side, which I very much doubt I will as I always just scan the main topics part ..

there are two boxes which can be selected to get email notifications, the first is for new surveys and the second to be notified for any replies.
