Hi there Sweet Happy Friday How was it ?

Sounds like a plan  

I had to go to the vet tonight to pick up more needles and insulin. One vial of insulin and two boxes of needles cost me £67 

That amount is enough to get her through just under a month. 

So.... tonight I have been googling a bit. I obviously can't get insulin anywhere but the vet.... but you can order the exact brand of needles online. In the vet they are £20 a box....online they are £11. 

The vet just lost itself a bit of business That's a ridiculous mark up  

That's a lot Ducky I'm guessing she's not insured ??

I had a good day fankoo

My mum had her insured for years. Then a couple of years ago she couldn't afford it anymore so stopped...... a few months later Pops got diabetes. Typical huh?  

My mum had help from the PDSA though, so she only had to pay about £10 a month towards it.

Oh ok .....Murphys's law ! Can you not get help from the PDSA too ? 

I won't qualify because of the amount I earn. I think the woman at the vet was a bit worried about how I would react when she charged me £67 today. She went all sympathetic and then asked me how old Pops was, as if she was working out how long she was gonna last.
