Good morning Darnies
We had rain earlier but itās stopped now. Windy and cold but the sun keeps making an appearance 
No more rain is forecast

I had a minor annoyance this morning. Went to open my back door and the key wouldnāt turn
Even tried the the spare key. Nothing 
So rang the council and explained the situation. They was going to send an operative out within 24 hours as it was an emergency. But I went and tried it again, giving the door handle a really good yank and turning the key. Low and behold it worked
Tried it several more times just to make sure and it seems to be okay. Then I contacted the council to explain that I had got it to work and to cancel the appointment. They thanked me for letting them know
Not a good start to the day but hey ho allās well that ends well, hopefully

Afternoon Darnies Mostly sunny here today , but weāve had some very heavy showers too . I didnāt have a great night , but I went for a walk first thing ā¦blew a few cobwebs away .My Cyril was very busy this morning , heās back in *burying* mode .
Aside from that , I have dusted , changed the sheet and duvet cover , but Iām still waiting for the cover to dry , so not done the shuffle yetā¦oh joy ! I had some nice lamb chops for lunch , and thatās me done for today . I hope everyone else is having a nice Friday .
