yes, they were just worried about infection, he had the stitches out and came home last thursday night and he was home for ..... 4 hours ... the wound came open   cue visit to a&e at 11.15pm - at first they said they would stitch up and send home, then they were worried about infection and wouldn't stitch up, at 4.30 am they decided he would be staying in for the night ... bit late for that, so i went home and couldn't sleep so watched celeb juice got an hours sleep then did a day in work

 

they said he wouldn't be going home that night (last friday) so I took him in some juice and quiz books etc. when I got there he wasn't there, they were stitching him up and when he came back they said he could go home

 

all has been good since, had stitches out on monday night and district nurses and consultant all happy with the wound, next step is CT scan in a couple of weeks then a week or so of anxious waiting again!!

 

(sorry about the essay but that's brought you up to date)

Awwww poor guy ....and poor you But hopefully it's all going in the right direction now .
