Hi Skylark I don't really know anymore.... cos since we lost the Feedback thread we seem to have been cut adrift from the Mods a bit Perhaps you could try sending her  dialog... and while you are at it, tell her that SCD and some of the other stickies have now finished The only other way is to either go to the Community bit... or wait for El LOro or one of the others who are up on this sort of thing

LOL.... I wouldn't do that Skylark, if I was you Oh dear, poor El Loro.... that is such a shame.. I really like his help threads... As for getting in touch with Lori..... I can do it if you want.... or you can simply click on  the little man by her name in any thread she has posted in... I think her Birthday thread is the most recent.... and it should give you a dialog option....

From the Press Pack
This year we have our biggest line up ever with 16 skaters all eager to prove
themselves every Sunday night, as always some of the skaters have had a few
falls on the ice but we’ve got a real determined bunch this year and we’ve seen
some fantastic progress during training.
There will be a number of changes to the show format this year, the first that
viewers will see is at the very beginning, 16 celebrities have been training since
October, but only 12 will be in the competition - Two will leave in week one and two
will leave in week two, it will all be left to the public vote.

LOL it'll be nice to see Daniel without having the usual Emmerdale actress for a change.

I've always liked KK. I spoke to Jennifer yesterday on Twitter, she has a lot of potential and looks confident on the ice.

This Johnson guy, I hope he doesn't last to the end just because of the reason he's a soldier and deserves all our respect etc, if he manages to do what is required of him successfully and gets support that way then great ooh I feel harsh now.
darloboy (Play The Game!)

So you know the twist, but who will be first up to face the public and fight it out for a place on Dancing on Ice?

Luckily the wait is over (for you and our startled stars!) and we can reveal that the celebrities taking part in the first skate off are Johnson Beharry, Steven Arnold, Vanilla Ice, Jeff Brazier, Kerry Katona, Nadia Swahala, Angela Rippon and Laura Hamilton.

Will Brazier breeze it, or will Vanilla live up to his namesake and own the Ice? Perhaps it'll be Kerry that captivates you, or will it be Angela that awes the audience?

Alas, only six of these celebs will be going through to the competition. And remember - it will be you choosing who goes through, and not our Ice Panel, so don’t forget to tune in on Sunday to watch their performances and cast your vote!

Next week will see the remaining eight celebrities step up as they too skate for your votes and for a crucial place in the game.

Who’ll make it to face the Judges in the competition?

Watch this space and let the skating begin!

Only 3 judges this year ,only one of the judges has a skating background.

Found this on the website.
You won't see Karen sitting on the judges' panel this year...

Why, you cry! Well, in a cunning new twist, Karen's set to take on the role of Head Coach. Not only will she be working even more closely with the celeb skaters, she'll get the chance to give the judges a piece of her mind in the live shows each week.

As we saw/may have seen in the Morecambe & Wise show, Angela Rippon can dance, so there's a good chance that she'll successfully translate it to the ice and go into the 'REAL' competition.

Darlo, I don't think you're being unduly harsh. It is well known that many of us dislike to see someone progress through a competition, often at the expense of others, on a sympathy vote.

That's not fair, we're being asked to eliminate two from eight on each of the first two weeks, instead of 2 from 16 and then 2 from 14! What if the first eight turn out to be better than ALL of the second eight?
We potentially could have lost two of the better skaters before it's properly started.
