Day was good thanks, Lynds seemed a tad better at teatime  Pleased you are in less pain too  How was your day? 

I've sang Do ye ken John Peel and Bringing in the Sheaves to Pam...I'm filling up my play list, I have a feeling she may be slightly grumpy when she gets here  

I'd be ok if only she would learn all the bloody words!

Not sure why I was worried about the eldest boy a few weeks ago, he's just won the most improved student in the school  He's so flipping intelligent, it was driving us bonkers he wasn't using it

Why ? 

Bathroom window needs a new lock.....if the guy's got one. It's an old lock and also need hinges. £50 each....that's without the £45 I paid for the shower yesterday

Chuffed to bits, he relieved his mum, other Nana and me out of 5 quid each, hopefully he'll know using his fantastic academic skills is worth it in the long run  I actually had half an idea he was going to be awarded it, my sis in law grandson is his head of year and mentioned something to her and she passed the snippet onto me..I kept schtum
