I agree suze... i thought I'd misheard on the radio this morning.   I like Harper though (and was it only me that counted them and the boys and thought 'Harper Six, surely...?'   (do they have a dog?)

Kaffs

Congratulations to them.

Whatever else is said about the Beckhams, they appear to be good parents to their three sons, and now have a daughter who will also be much loved. Good on them.

Now, that would have been unusual.

I think it's lovely news too, but I'm not keen on the name. Harper sounds incredibly masculine to me, and Seven? Ah well, it's their choice, and no doubt what they chose they would be picked on about it.

Hahaha - I like that Kaffy

I haven't seen or heard any news yet today - I wonder what inspired Harper?

Probably named after Harper Lee, as To Kill a Mockingbird is David's favourite novel.

I had a debate with a customer this morning about the name; He said it's a terrible name, the child will get picked on at school and they should think about when their kids get into the real world! My argument was, their kids go to school with other kids who have unusual names so it'll be no big deal to them, and they live in an entirely different world to us- even when the kids are all grown up they still won't live in "the real world" as you & I would know it.. So I think it's great, I hope they are having a wonderful time with baby harper

I wondered if that was where they'd got it from - and then dismissed it.

My thoughts exactly - Harper is a nice enough name but Seven is plain daft

Then again if they didn't call the little bub something different, we'd all lose interest in about 5 minutes   and can you imagine people shouting the Seven bit in a Len Goodman voice

Haha  I was thinking that this morning. And her first boyfriend asking 'what time should I bring Seven back?' ....'11'.

I live a 'realer' world than the Beckhams and my kids are friends with a bunch of anagrams and apostrophes.
