Yep marrowfats are the only peas to have. Maybe tinned peas in juice but not garden peas. Nowt to them! 

But... buh dey is so sweet and ickle

oooh.. I love the bright green juice you get in a tin of marrowfat peas.... 

 

I drink it from a glass  (well, I used to...    my lily livered southern family don't like tinned peas,   or the pork pie they belong on top of)

If you went for fish and chips in Mrs Jer's homeland, you might take a bowl and ask for fish n chips n soup, the soup being the water of the peas. The best peas in fact are Morrisons savers mushy peas. Three tins for a poond and not entirely mushy.

Marrowfat peas are much better than garden peas.

Agreed, but it has to be Farrows for me - only time I tried mushy peas I thought they were horrible but I haven't had them from the chippy so perhaps I have misjudged them.
