She's through.  Social Services have been alerted.

I went into the kitchen after Ninja Warrior, came back in to watch last nights Agents of Shield. But this shite had already started.

I feel ashamed of myself for watching up until the first break...

This is where I give up.

This act were obviously put through by the producers to be laughed at. I don't like that.

but isn't that what they're there for, really?

I've never watched this - is it normal to have the ones to laugh at, like X Factor?

Yes, they are. But they're under the illusion that the producers have put them through because they're good enough. Then they get laughed at in front of an audience and mocked by the judges. It just builds up false hope.

It's never sat well with me.

I know what you mean - I can't be doing with it on X Factor.

I understand your discomfort, but don't you think it's about time that the deluded realised that that's exactly what they are - deluded?

I'm not saying they should get slated and humiliated but some people need a bigger hint than others.

But the producers should give them that hint instead of sending them through to the judges. Save their embarrassment.

What makes it even worse is shite acts get put through to the finals to be humiliated on LIVE TV.

And perhaps National TV is not the best place to BE PLACED to be shown....

I agree in principle - but in the case of those two, i'm not sure they were embarassed and not sure that it wasn't exactly what they expected but wanted their five minutes of fame  .. 'she's the eye candy' the talker said... that was humour..    I don't think anybody was using her... I think it may have been mutual.
