Well it's more than a month now since my puter went t!ts-up. The computer engineer has left me with a box of parts which doesn't work and has diappeared, not responding to texts or phone calls. I think I've been had, big time. So now I'm left with a choice: do I call in another engineer to fix the mess the first one made OR do I buy a new computer and hope I can find someone to install the drive and graphics card I bought? Both involve extra money, and the first option would probably be cheaper though the second option seems safer to me. Hmm...

Does anyone know of a computer whizz in the London area?

Sorry to hear about your computer problems. I am in the industry myself and pretty annoyed when people do that kind of thing - I assure you we are not all bad.

I'm up here in Yorkshire so anyone I know is a bit too far away. We have local forums which are great for finding the type of help you require, do you have such forums in your area?

If you are not successful, I would opt for buying a new one and then selling all your other parts on-line to recoup some cash.
