The avocet is the emblem bird of the RSPB.
I thought this was a Kirsty Allsopp, or at the very least, a Liza Tarbuck thread but.

I have a good level of control when it comes to bets. To date I've never been in a bookies. Although I have done the odd Lottery ticket. Not so much these days.

I doubt Donna (CDWM) would have lasted 5 mins, especially without makeup

The Avocet is not a particularly small bird. The avocets were the birds that were losing their nests (and eggs!) due to the rising waters.

I'm afraid it got flooded - and now there's another one they're concerned about, though it's not as close to disaster yet.
