Funnily enough, I was listening to this bloke only this morning: BBC News 24 showed an interview with him from the Hay Festival of Literature.

I wasn't surprised to learn that Yuval Harari is a big fan of Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel" (a book I never hesitate to recommend to people at every opportunity). I think I'm going to have to get hold of a copy of Harari's "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind", because it sounds like the sort of book - as with "Guns, Germs and Steel" - that changes how you see the world...

I just googles his book and oddly enough as I was watching BBC News this morning, I heard his name mentioned as one of the  exhibitors at the Hay festival.
