...I HATE it when John James calls Corin Cozza....why when it is hardly abbreviating her name...I hate it when he calls Mario Mazza too.......he also called Ben Benji and Sam Sammy...why does John James feel the need to do that....surely it's harder to say Benji than Ben?????

Dave insists on calling Mario Mole which annoys the shit out of me, it's like he calls him Mole to keep him in his place.........

They are irritating me sooo much at the moment....grrrrr

I call him Dick Wap...it's two words isn't it!!!!

Sometimes I call him t**t, dick head and F**k wit....it depends on what level of irritation he has me at!

What I mean is, he makes their names longer rather than abrieviating them, and Dave calls Mario Mole just to degrade him.......

Dave makes me so angry when he says "Mole or Moley". It' s a 'distancing' thing.

Yes, you're right. I'd forgotten about Halfwit and Dogface....and Moley is even worse than Mole....I would've bitten by now and told them to call me by my real name...I don't know how Mario hasn't, more power to him I guess...

It's an a Aussie thing, regrettably we have it here in Irl too..abbreviating people's names. Unless it's done with affection, I don't like it one little bit. I also agree with Brisket and Dave's use of the 'Mole' for Mario. It drives me nuts.

I dont mind anyone shortening my name as mine is a bit of a mouthful , my son in law shortens my daughters name and I do find myself saying that is not her name

my cousins do it all the time with everything

I've always hated the way Dave called Ben Fauntleroy and Mario Mole as he was being sarcastic and they weren't nick names but derogative terms
