Our local authority organised a special concert for school children from local schools, who had been learning to play musical instruments in class. It was in Ilford Town Hall and cost £5 per adult, so £10 for us to watch our nine year old son playing Samba music. It was actually quite enjoyable.

Mr Blizz had dropped us off and then went to park the car, as it was hard to find anywhere to park.

We came out to find a parking ticket for £40.

This morning, he has received a penalty charge notice saying that he used a route restricted to certain vehicles. £60!!

So, £110 to hear a load of drumming, scratchy violins and xylophones.

It makes sick Blizzie, my husband got a parking ticket in Wickes Canning Town, it was issued by UKPC, he'd just bought a kitchen for a client,  there was no ticket on the windscreen, a few days later we got the fine and a photo showing he was over a parking line. Wickes were no help and said they had no control over the parking. It's their effing carpark for customers.

Essie did they provide a pic showing the ticket on the windscreen as proof of issue?
No, Just a picture of his van wheels over the edge. After I googled the company and seen the amount of complaints against the same company, I told hubby to fight it as they are not just in Wickes but also a lot of B&Q's, he just paid it and I gave up. Hubby's idea of revenge is not to go to Wickes anymore and to go to Selco instead. I tried to explain to him that Wickes have probably not noticed his absence in the slightest.
