Although Bin Laden is dead, his ideology continues and there are many extremists who will be willing to pick up his mantle. I don't see how his death will change things for the better.

He was responsible for evil deeds - He did deserve to be removed. Thank Whoever they did not capture him - Imagine the chaos there would have been then.
Under no illusions this will make any difference though. Americans will feel 9-11 has been avenged. It is only natural to feel that way. Let them have their day of retribution.
