Most professionals are able to differentiate between their private and working lives....I mean...
I'm sure there are surgeons out there that have questionable hobbies, but they don't bring them into the operating room.
I doubt you'll see many doctors or surgeons with prominent tattoes. There lies the difference

It's not that I don't like tattoo's, it just that I've rarely (if ever) seen one that I like. On professionals I think it looks well . . . unprofessional, they should be covered imo. They are attention seeking, they are adornment, like jewellery.
The worst are neck tattoos and calf tattoos - and people saying they have them in personal places 
The only tattooes that would scare me are San Salvador and Mongrels New Zealand.
