Previous polls have been moved there as well and are in date order with the latest going to oldest.

One thing to note though is that with those previous polls, just the questions and results. There is a link to the original thread where all the comments are.

Comments for new surveys (and any new comments on previous polls) are shown as part of the survey.

Just a point .....how will we know if there is a new poll?

Once we get a few current surveys going, I'll add a new widget that shows them. In the meantime, you can see that someone voted in the poll in the Activity Stream, which shows up on the home page (right side), here: https://www.gagajoyjoy.com/home

In your Notifications page there are now two extra options relating to Surveys.

You can set one to receive instant emails that there's a new survey and the other one is to receive an instant email whenever there's a new comment on any survey. Both are defaulted to off at present.

You're right: it wasn't broke. But it WAS limited for many of our customers. So, we made it its own module, and increased the flexibility.
