You can probably get those albums for £13 for both. Japan were dismissed as 'glam rock' failures by the music media and they disowned those albums too. David Sylvian's vocals are punk-like at times. It's a totally different Japan but the talent shines through. Then there was "Quiet Life".
IMO, they are well worth listening to. They're the sound of talented musicians not quite finding their unique sound but still making really good songs that any band would be proud of.
Yes, I will pick up a copy of those two album, would silly not to considering. After all, I would like to have a more complete picture of Japan's musical history.
