Just seen the trailer for the Kat & Alfie "EastEnders" spinoff "Redwater". Can you believe that it's over a year since they left the soap and the spinoff in Ireland was set up?
I stopped watching EE years ago, but from the clip it just looks like the same old Kat and Alfie angst and arguments in a different setting.

Actually, this does seem to be something a bit different. The makers are insisting it's not a soap, and are likening it to "Broadchurch" - which will probably make a lot of people rolleyes but it does appear to be more of a mystery thriller. And it's directed by Jesper W Nielsen, who did "Borgen"...
