Love narrowboats, had many a good school trip up and down the Grand Union.

I always wanted to have our family holiday on a narrowboat, but it is so expensive. It was always cheaper to hire a Spanish villa, with flight, pool and car, than to hire a narrowboat in this country. And there was never that uncertainty about the weather either.
