"Pubs may re-open this month in 'save summer' move"
Pubs and restaurants in England could re-open earlier than planned after warnings of huge job losses.
Firms were preparing to start serving customers outdoors from 4 July, but 22 June is now being considered by ministers backing a "save summer" move.
The Cabinet is expected to discuss the issue on Tuesday, along with possibly relaxing the two-metre distancing rule.
One does get the feeling that we are now moving into a phase where those in charge are desperate to get business moving again at the expense of a potential second wave of C-19. Not that getting business back up and running is not important, but we seem to have moved from lockdown to relaxing the 2 metre rule in such a short space of time.
