Of closed cases, 7% have died, but mainly people with a pre existing condition. It is affecting people over 50 disproportionately high and very few children have been affected. Like you say, flu and measles have been much more deadly and contagious. Media making this worse, although I think China should have been much more careful at the outset and not try and cover it all up.
I heard that the other day Roxan ....they speculated that the elderly ...aka me ...
...might have something that makes it easier for the virus to attach itself ....or words to that effect ....but I agree , although it’s very worrying ....I do think the media is hyping it up a bit
