Reply to "Hicky's Chat Room"

Hi both.
Sunny and warm today, but very windy. Blow your hat across the field windy.
Made everything twice as difficult as it needed to be.
However I got a couple of jobs done, including my new customer for the first time.

Mollie. As Hicky says, that's a strange collection from the Auction house. But I guess if they are good jumpers and the sextant is in good condition, then that's not too bad a price.
(I presume you meant sextant, as a "sexton" is some kind of church official )

Glad you enjoyed the musical play.
Pity you got the drizzly weather though.
Hope you enjoyed coffee with your neighbour. My new customer treated me with coffee and biscuits.

Hicky. More provisions for your neighbour and SiL.
I'm sure HMRC will be very quick to tell you if you owe them something.

That's interesting that your OH will end up in Edinburgh on the train.
There are regularly steam trains on the Border railway near me (as special runs), but doubt that's what they'll be on, as it only runs from Edinburgh to Tweedbank in the Borders and back.

The Inside the Factory things are quite good, but Gregg Wallace acts a bit of a fool, and pretends he doesn't know anything.
For instance last night's prog was on curry making, and at the beginning he said he didn't really know what went into curry, which is daft as he was a Masterchef judge.

Tonight I watched 'Britain's parking Hell' then 'The Real marigold Hotel', then 24 Hrs in A&E on +1.
Looking forward to CBB tomorrow, but means I'll have to record 'Keeping Faith', as i like that.
