Raining here most of the day. It brightened up this evening, but too late for going out.

Sounds like a nice brekkie out. I had a cooked brekkie of bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushroom and egg.
That's good that the file came. now you can get to work on the gardener's hedger. 
Hopefully you wouldn't need to pay for the trip to Australia yourselves? I'd have thought your lad would pay or at least contribute?
Been watching the footie again tonight. There's not much else on. I don't like 'All Round to Mrs Brown's'. Not as good as the Mrs Brown's series proper.
