Evening Hicky. 
No frost when I got up, but a very cold sunny day.
Went to Sainsburys this afternoon.
Watched the Olympics closing ceremony.
Don't think there'll be much chance of much gardening for you (or me) next week, if the forecasters are to be believed.
It seems the weather forecasters are revelling in this coming cold weather, because they know they'll be in the news.
I was watching one weather girl telling us about the dangers of the cold and possible disruption because of snow, and she was grinning and winking at the camera as she said it. 
I wouldn't try and work out what HMRC are on about. If they haven't got a clue, there's not much chance of you fathoming it. Just be grateful if the price they ask is not too high. 
That's quite a lot to have to pay on that suitcase.
