Realist ... Marcus Akin and the object of his affection, Noirin Kelly
MARCUS Akin has admitted that his relationship with Noirin Kelly is currently a tad one-sided.
"I'd say 90 per cent of her coming to me is just about getting the answers," the philosophising window fitter told fellow housemates Siavash Sabbaghpour and Freddie Fisher.
He also spilled the beans on a conversation he had had with Noirin in which she apparently said 'All my friends just told me to come in and walk over everyone and win it.'
But even that admission hasn't cooled Marcus's ardour.
Waxing lyrical about his relationship with the 25-year-old Dublin beauty, 35-year-old Marcus said: "It's all about respect and the deeper meaning of things."
Later, though, he hit the nail squarely on the head, saying: "The best way I can spend my time, apart from talking with you lot, is chasing her around."
And, referring to a game some of the housemates were playing earlier, he said: "What do I want to do, kick a f**** glove around or chase a beautiful girl?"
Marcus, you can rest your case right there.
