Ros, I hope both concerts go well Porgy and Bess is a folk opera which could have been included in either of your choirs. It's been on Radio 3 many times over the years (as has Rhapsody in Blue).

aww thank you EL hug but choir 1 would never sing it - its all choral and classical which i adore , choir 2 is much more eclectic but prefer the discipline /strictness /music of choir 1
