Just after I left the car park to drive home a car whizzed past in front of me at the traffic lights controlled roundabout. Definitely sailed through red lights as the lights in front of me had been green for several seconds so not marginal. There are no cameras at those lights otherwise the driver would have got caught.
Then as I was nearly home I saw a car waiting at the exit of the school, That's on the right hand side of the road. Suddenly it pulled out to my side of the road. If I hadn't done an emergency stop that car would have collided with mine. It missed my car by just over a foot. Clearly the driver had looked to their right but not to their left before pulling out. As it's gloomy I had the lights on so clearly that driver was careless. I think the driver realised that they had made a mistake as they flashed their rear lights later on.
