Welcome back, Summer I'm glad you had a brilliant time

All quiet here. Had a phone call from one of those computer scammers. Standard tricks used by them. Claimed that the errors shown on the event viewer were proof that there were problems on my computer. As with all Windows computers there are thousands of red and yellow error messages. Scammers claim this is proof - that's not the case. If there was a problem with your computer, a computer technical person might look at the error logs to see if they could identify the problem but it doesn't mean that all error messages are a sign of a computer problem. For instance many of the error messages on mine are on start up with the media player not connecting with my network streaming connections. As that's because my computer is not networked. Then there are error messages as my ASUS AI charger hasn't made any connections. That's because my ASUS computer isn't connected to anything such as an ipad requiring recharging,

The scammer also tried the ASSOC command trick - the one where they read out to you your computer ID as proof that they've had reports from your computer. That's the long hexadecimal number which starts with 88DCA60. As I've said before it's the same number on every Windows computer.
