I found out something this afternoon when I saw my client. She happened to mention someone that she had known called Luke Bond.
For those interested in the recent Royal Wedding he was the organist for the wedding:

When he was a youngster he was in our church choir. He told the organist that he was interested in learning to play the organ and as a result he did his early practising there. Later he got a scholarship to King's School in Gloucester where he did his secondary education (that school is connected with the cathedral so perfect for him).
