You remember I posted about the elderly Gloucester couple who had parked somewhere in Cheltenham but after their hospital appointment couldn't find where they parked. After an appeal it was found several days later in a car park.
The local council have now waived all but the first penalty notice and it's thought that one of the national newspapers will pay that for the couple.
I had mentioned that the car park had little similarity with the place originally described by the couple - beautiful houses on one side of the road with greenery on the other. The woman has since said that she thinks she must have dreamed that during the night after they mislaid the car.
