As from tomorrow when the new tax year starts, employers are entitled to get the first £2,000 off their employers national insurance cost (employees contibutions continue). Employers who use payroll programs will need to check that the option in their software is set to get the £2,000 before they start running the payroll.
I posted yesterday about the England women's cricket team could beat the men's team at this time. On the Radio 4 news this morning at 7.30 in the sport slot they actually made the same comment.
