Baz Afternoon Mollie and Hicky 🥰🥰🥰Overcast first thing , but sun is out at the moment ….but the wind is very chilly ! Not a bad night though , so I went for a long walk first thing . Aside from that I’ve changed sheets and pillowcase , washed , ironed, fed wildlife and swept the patio …so not a totally wasted Friday . I hope everyone else is enjoying their day . Mollie , I hope your day is going well . I enjoyed Benidorm yesterday , but I hope we don’t see too much of that miserable landlord... [ more ]

El Loro Electrode vest gives hope to heart rhythm patients By Jane Dreaper Health correspondent, BBC News Doctors are using special vests to precisely diagnose abnormal heart rhythms, in the first UK tests of their kind. Cardiologists from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in west London say the vests have enabled them to successfully treat more patients. They hope the technology could eventually help more people suffering from heart palpitations. The Arrythmia Alliance described the tests as a... [ more ]
El Loro From the BBC: Government warned over 'them and us' online services The government is in danger of creating a "them and us" situation by digitising public services, a report warns. Ministers say 82% of "transactions" can be carried out online, as that is roughly the proportion of the population which uses the internet. But the National Audit Office argued that the percentage of people able to access some services, such as those used by elderly people, was lower. It called for "continued... [ more ]
El Loro From the BBC: A Canadian accountant has managed to create a basic video game using only Excel spreadsheets. The game, called Arena.Xlsm, is a turn-based fantasy game in which players fight monsters and gather loot to make their character more powerful. Much of Arena is regenerated every time the game is played to lend variety to the way it is completed. It was created using macros - simple programs and shortcuts that users create to speed up use of the program. Chartered accountant Cary... [ more ]

Twee Surgeon Shar, I agree, Henry loved himself just that little bit too much. His self-indulgence knew no bounds but I think he did love AB and JS. He is buried alongside JS, at his own request. He fell out of love with AB because she made him wait, and he also did not like the fact that she did not bow down to his will at the beginning and this loss of power over her at the beginning sealed her fate when he tired of her. I still maintain that he killed AB because she was a living reminder that he once... [ more ]
Shar Reference: I also really believe that he married for love in most of his marriages and he really did want a legitimate son most of all. If you replace 'love' with 'lust' there Twee I would agree ... I don't think he was capable of love myself ... except where it came to himself ... [ more ]
Twee Surgeon Reference: I agree. My concern was not over the historical accuracy, but with the nature of some of the scenes. In particular the one where Catherine is swinging on the swings to show her childish nature, but is naked and then proceeds to stand up and walk over to Henry for presumably another round of sex. If the actress was of the same age as Catherine, I think that this would be not only improper but illegal. The actress is over 18, so there's no issue of legality, but I do question... [ more ]

Tatty Yogi, i did interior design, how do you think i feel now? i dont go out anymore, i am practically housebound, in 2 years i have tried to come to terms with it all, and it is very hard. before my life was full, i did what i wanted, went where i wanted, i'm not even allowed to drive anymore. oh well heyho .... leaves more time for me to sit here and make you all laugh, with my antics from before hehehe [ more ]

Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt Still a little hard to say what's going on Still a little bit of your ghost your witness Still a little BIT of your face I haven't kissed You step a little closer EACH DAY Still I can't SAY what's going on Stones taught me to fly Love taught me to lie Life taught me to die So it's not hard to fall When you float like a cannonball Still a little bit of... ♥PinkBabe1966♥The Angel under the tree! I cannot believe how rude some people are, talking about "A" and "B" lists for weddings. I can just imagine what those sorts of weddings would be like, wannabe "Hello" ones, not a day to have a public expression of your love for each other, just an excuse to have all the trappings and for it to cost a lot of money. I can honestly say that when I got married, any single friends of mine were not even told plus one,it was left to them if they wanted to bring a guest fine, if not fine as well. [ more ]

Jet Blue I hated most vegetables but now enjoy approx 50% of vegetables though I couldn't say I like them all. I was unable to leave the table until I had eaten my vegetables as a child so I used to smother them in brown sauce to disguise the taste but often vomited afterwards cos I found them so vile. I also did not like the taste of coca cola as I found it very sweet and to this day I prefer diet coke to the full fat variety. [ more ]
El Loro I too used to hate cucumber and couldn't understand how anybody could eat. Nowadays I can eat it. However I cannot eat Worcester apples, not because I dislike them, but because I get mild anaphylactic shock (if that's spelt right). I also can't eat lemon sole without becoming ill. [ more ]

Åŗтγмαģš I don't read the poem like that. It's not about parallel universes - it's about the fact that all your life you are making decisions about the next step to take - which job, which partner etc. etc..
