Dear all,

Thank you for your replies. I read each comment  recognising all the qualities you that you describe so well. You knew her so well. And so you would. This forum was an important part of her life. She was very loyal to it, and all of you.

Today was Xochi's funeral: a celebration of the life of this extraordinary, wonderful woman. Her family and friends are, as you would imagine, warm, witty and kind. This description does not do them justice.

I confess I feel the loss so much today and can't settle. Xochi led a rich and full life despite being born with ostiogenesis imperfecta.

I feel so fortunate to have known her... through Big Brother. Meeting her was like suddenly having a casket of treasure wash up on shore in front of me. She turned up and I was wondefully enriched by her friendship. She'll always be in my head and heart. Laughing, comforting, chiding me. If she were reading this now, she would roll her eyes at my drama queen ways. "It's not all about you sis" she would laugh and say.  Then she would shoo me away so she could enjoy the forum in peace. : )

Thank you all again.
