...would you recommend your course? My son who has just done a degree in game design has started making short films and wants to take it further

Amythist, I've enjoyed the course. More so for the opportunities and connections I've been able to make. I will say there are elements I'm not too fond of, but that's probably the same for every course out there.
You do realise I'm in Toronto, right? It's not a cheap course. I got super lucky in that I received a 90% bursary to help pay for it. If you can afford it, by all means. Toronto's a great city with a huge industry. If not, get him to look into Bristol or London.
