I want to put some bird feeders up but I have nowhere to put them so I have to throw the food on the garage roof and I can't see them feeding or even know if they've seen it

You have no garden?

Nope, nothing that's any good a a garden. The front is all full of chippings

Could you not screw an angle bracket to your wall, then hang off a feeder. Get it to protrude a few feet so can observe.

It's a good idea but the only one that can really do it is my uncle and I don't like to ask him to do too much. He's getting on in life and has enough to do with his own house and his son's.   Plus he's the only one with a masonry drill that I know

How about at work?

Any friendly colleagues who will do it for a cup of tea and cake?

Or how about a local group of wildlife enthusiasts?
