Occasionally when I walk to work I see them 'mooching' around the car parks. They see me but don't bolt off. I tried getting photos but they were too far away for my mobile phone camera.

Quite a few urbans round here.

 

My record was a family of four in the snow.

I bet they stood out well against the white of the snow.

Lovely area. When I was a youth I was right into birds. Forgotten half of them now.

 

Had this book given to me as a boy. Think it is from 1966. Still in the family. My mum uses it.

 

I've got one too' And a Reader's Digest Book of Birds, amongst others.
