4-0 Roddick

5-0 Roddick

5-1 Roddick

7-1 Roddick

1st set to Roddick

Missed some of this due to watching the Keothavong match.

But it's now been halted due to rain, it is not expected to resume tonight because of the light (or lack of it!)

Roddick leads 4 - 2 in the second set and by 1 set to love.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

Heather Watson has done it - she beat Jamie Lee Hampton 6-1, 6-4. She is the first British woman to get into the last 32 at Wimbledon since 2002.

She has a personality which is appealing and is likely to become very popular to the home crowds at Wimbledon for many years. Photo of her at the end of her match on Monday:

El Loro

And the Baker/Roddick match has been further delayed by rain, but it looks like we could have some action soon on the un-roofed courts.

Meanwhile WozniackiPaszek match has been playing under the Centre Court roof.

Having got to 3 all in the final set it went 4-3 then 5-3 to Paszek (a hold then a break) but Wozniacki broke back to 5-4 and with her own serve to come it looked like we were in for a good few games yet, but amazingly Paszek managed to break Wozniaki again to take the set and the match!

Another seed (7) bites the dust.

By the way, Paszek won Eastgourne last week.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

Baker serving 1st in the 3rd set.

Baker holds 1-0

Roddick holds 1-1

Baker  holds 2-1

Roddick holds (with a struggle) 2-2

Baker holds to 15 3-2

Roddick holds (after two deuces and 2 break points) 3-3

Baker holds to love 4-3

Roddick holds 4-4

Baker holds (after saving 3 break points) 5-4

Roddick holds (but was taken to deuce) 5-5

Roddick breaks! 5-6

Roddick holds to love 5-7

GAME, SET and MATCH to Roddick 3 sets to love, but it certainly wasn't a walkover.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

Anne Keothavong failed to reach the third round after losing 6-1 6-1 to Italy's 10th seed Sara Errani.

Still to come to day are Andy Murray, James Ward and Elena Baltacha. James Ward is up against the 10th seed Mardy Fish, Elena Baltacha is up against the 10th seed Petra Kvitova. Andy Murray has the easier games compared to the other two and is up against Ivo Karlovic. Ivo Karlovic is 6 foot 10 inches and is the tallest man in professional tennis.

El Loro

Just got home. I've missed the Murray/Karlovic match, which I believe Murray won in 4 sets.

I'm now watching the Ward/Fish match which seems to be quite spectacular.

It was 2 sets to one to Fish and fish was holding match point in the 4th, but ward not only saved the point, but brought the set to a tie-break which he went on to win after breaking Fish twice.

2 sets all!

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

Kvitova has won the first three games, which means she has broken Baltacha twice already.

She holds to 30

4-0 Kvitova

Kvitova breaks again

5-0 Kvitova

It's not looking too good for Baltacha

Kvitova holds once more to take the first set 6-0

Kvitova breaks Baltacha then holds, then breaks baltacha again.

Kvitova leads 3-0 2nd set and by 1 set to Love
