I know, I even laugh about it....Helen was only small I went and got her another two a similar size, she never knew

Yes, but I couldn’t My kids had them ....amongst a myriad of other pets ....but I certainly wouldn’t have taken them to the vets ....they had two chances...swim or sink

 My youngest brother (aged 3) killed my goldfish by taking it out of the water to talk to it.

me too, I had 4 fish tanks full and could never become attached to a fish...my children didn't either

me too, I had 4 fish tanks full and could never become e attached to a fish...my children didn't either 

My son had a big aquarium ....and they were nice to look at , but don’t think he got attached to them ....not like his dogs and cats

I'm not though...I just don't find watching sharks in a ocean for an hour entertaining. I love aquarium fish, they would get a loo funeral though
